Poonam Sinha (née Chandiramani) is an Indian politician and former actress, fashion model. She acted in Hindi cinema under the screen name Komal in her early career. She was crowned Miss Young India in 1968. She is married to actor and politician Shatrughna Sinha.
Poonam Sinha is a popular Indian actress and model best known as the star wife of actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha. She was born in Hyderabad to a Hindu Sindhi family as Poonam Chandiramani. She acted in the Bollywood under the screen name Komal and made her debut with the film Jigri Dost released in 1969.
Poonam Sinha was born as Poonam Chandiramani on 3 November 1949 (age 69 years; as in 2018) in Hyderabad. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. Poonam was crowned Miss Young India in 1968. Subsequently, she started her acting career with the film “Jigri Dost.” Next, she appeared in the films Aadmi Aur Insaan and Aag Aur Daag.
