Having attended Cranleigh School in Surrey, he appeared in British theatres between 1896 and 1922 before emigrating to America to try his hand on Broadway.
14 de feb. de 2021 · Bela Lugosi, Edward Van Sloan, and Herbert Bunston all were cast members from a 1927 stage production of Dracula. The touring production happened to be in Los Angeles when the film was being cast. Van Sloan and Bunston were both brought onboard to reprise their roles from the Dracula play. However, Laemmle didn’t want Lugosi as Dracula.
