Joseph Marcell (born 14 August 1948) is a Saint Lucian-British actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as Geoffrey Butler, the butler on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from September 1990 until the show ended in May 1996.
Joseph Marcell is a Caribbean-born actor and director, best known for his role as Geoffrey Butler on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He has also appeared in The Exorcism of God, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, and many other films and TV shows.
