Susan Abigail Sarandon, de soltera Tomalin (Nueva York; 4 de octubre de 1946), es una actriz y productora estadounidense de teatro, cine y televisión muy destacada por su enorme talento. Su nutrida y extensa filmografía la han convertido en uno de los rostros más reconocibles de Hollywood.
Sarandon began her acting career in the drama film Joe (1970), the soap opera A World Apart (1970–1971), and the television film F. Scott Fitzgerald and 'The Last of the Belles' (1974). She gained prominence for her role as Janet Weiss in the cult classic musical comedy horror film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).
