Bernard Bresslaw (25 February 1934 – 11 June 1993) [1] was a British actor and comedian. He was best known as a member of the Carry On film franchise. Bresslaw also worked on television and stage, did recordings and wrote a series of poetry. Biography.

Bernard Bresslaw was a British comic actor, singer and writer. He is best remembered for his performance in the ‘Carry On’ film series. As a singer, he contributed to a number of songs including “You Need Feet" and “The Teenager's Lament".
