Teresa Edwards (born July 19, 1964) is an American former women's basketball player and four time Olympic gold medalist. In 2000, Sports Illustrated magazine placed her as 22nd of the "100 Greatest Female Athletes of the 20th Century". She played for, and graduated from, the University of Georgia.

She also boasts the incredible feat of being both the youngest and the oldest gold medallist in her sport, having helped Team USA to the title for the first time in 1984 at the age of 20, and for the last in 2000 when she was 36.
