Paul D. "Tony" Hinkle (December 19, 1899 – September 22, 1992) was an American football, basketball, and baseball player, coach, and college athletic administrator. He attended the University of Chicago, where he won varsity letters in three sports.

Coach and athletic director. (Dec. 19, 1899-Sept. 22, 1992). Born in Logansport, Indiana, Tony Hinkle attended the University of Chicago, where he was named to the All-Western Conference (Big 10) basketball team in 1919 and 1920 and won All-America honors in the latter season.
