Prinz Reuß-Köstritz, Heinrich XXIV. Prinz Reuß jüngere Linie, Heinrich XXIV. Prinz Reuß zu Köstritz. He was probably the only composer to have a descendant, Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss of Plauen, who was married (from 1992 to 1999) to a former member of the 70s pop group ABBA, namely Frida Lygstad.
This is a first rate work which makes a handsome addition to the string quintet literature. Written with string players in mind, it is not technically difficult and yet it so well written that it deserves to be heard in concert.
