John Samuel Waters, Jr. ( Baltimore; 22 de abril de 1946) es un director de cine, actor, escritor y fotógrafo estadounidense. También es profesor de Cine y subcultura en la European Graduate School. Se hizo conocido a principio de los años 1970 por sus transgresoras películas de culto.
John Samuel Waters Jr. (born April 22, 1946) is an American filmmaker, writer, actor, and artist. He rose to fame in the early 1970s for his transgressive cult films, including Multiple Maniacs (1970), Pink Flamingos (1972) and Female Trouble (1974).
