Sidney Rankin Drew (September 19, 1891 – May 19, 1918) was an American actor and film director.
Mr. & Mrs. Sidney Drew were an American comedy team on stage and screen. The team initially consisted of Sidney Drew (August 28, 1863 – April 9, 1919) and his first wife Gladys Rankin (October 8, 1870 – January 9, 1914).

There was a young movie actor-director who died in the Lafayette Corps, and his name was Sidney Rankin Drew. He was a good friend and colleague of Frank Morgan's and died in 1918. I have a picture of Sidney Rankin Drew from a circa 1920 book on the Lafayette Escadrille which also has a page of information on him.

His son, S. Rankin Drew, also acted in films and was thought a promising director, but he enlisted in the army in World War I and was killed when his plane was shot down over France. Sidney never got over his only child's death, and died a year later.
At the age of eighteen she married actor Sidney Drew. The couple costarred in the plays The Burglar and That Girl From Mexico. Their son, S. Rankin Drew, was born in 1891.
