Mogwai es una banda escocesa de post-rock formada en 1995 en Glasgow, llegando a ser una de las bandas de post-rock más conocidas. La banda consiste en Stuart Braithwaite (guitarra, vocales), Barry Burns (guitarra, piano, sintetizador, vocales), Dominic Aitchison (bajo) y Martin Bulloch (batería).
The cocoons made by a mogwai are large, gray-brown or green, slimy objects which pulsate while the gremlin is inside. They are made after the mogwai eats food after midnight. After a period of time, the mogwai has now transformed into a scaly gremlin, which hatches from the cocoon.
