Lethal Weapon is an American buddy cop action comedy-drama television series developed by Matt Miller and based on the Lethal Weapon film franchise created by Shane Black. The series served as a reboot, [1] which ran for three seasons on Fox, from September 21, 2016 to February 26, 2019. [2] [3]
Legal Weapon were a Southern California-based punk band, initially composed of singer Kat Arthur and guitarist Brian Hansen (both previously of the Silencers), bassist Patricia Morrison (formerly of Bags and later of the Gun Club, the Sisters of Mercy and the Damned), drummer Charlie Vartanian and guitarist Mike R. Livingston.
This will be the only film in the Lethal Weapon series not directed by Richard Donner, who sadly passed away during pre-production in 2021 at age 91. However, due to his years, he had personally asked his friend Mel Gibson to take over in such an event.
