Admiral Vere Beauclerk, 1st Baron Vere (14 July 1699 – 21 October 1781), known as Lord Vere Beauclerk until 1750, was a Royal Navy officer, British peer and politician who sat in the House of Commons for 24 years from 1726 to 1750.

Lord Vere Beauclerk entered the navy about 1713,1 serving in the Mediterranean 1722-7, and again under Sir Charles Wager in 1731. Succeeding his brother, the 2nd Duke of St. Albans, at Windsor in 1726, he consistently voted with the Government.

Lord Vere Beauclerk, was the third son of Charles Beauclerk, 1st Duke of St Albans, and his wife, Lady Diana de Vere and was born 14 July 1699. He entered the Navy, about 1713 and was promoted to the rank of Captain 30 May 1721 and appointed to the frigate Lyme and served in the Mediterranean 1722-27 under Sir Charles Wager.
