Ford Christopher Frick (December 19, 1894 – April 8, 1978) was an American sportswriter and baseball executive. After working as a teacher and as a sportswriter for the New York American, he served as public relations director of the National League (NL) and then as the league's president from 1934 to 1951.
Through an unlikely path from Colorado sportswriter to commissioner of baseball, Ford C. Frick oversaw monumental changes and achievements during his 31 years of leadership in the game. He also helped ensure those achievements would be preserved forever in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Between 1923 and 1934, Frick covered the New York Yankees for the New York Evening Journal, and in 1930 he also began to work as a radio announcer.
