Count Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt (Russian: Граф Густав-Маврикий Максимович Армфельт, tr, Gustav-Mavrikiy Maksimovich Armfel't; 31 March 1757 – 19 August 1814) was a Finnish-Swedish-Russian courtier and diplomat. In Finland, he is considered one of the greatest Finnish statesmen.

Appointed gentleman to Gustav III of Sweden in 1781, Armfelt was employed in the negotiations with Catherine II of Russia (1783) and with the Danish government (1787) and was one of the king’s most trusted.

Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt, född 31 mars 1757 på Juva kaptensboställe i Tarvasjoki, död 19 augusti 1814 i Tsarskoje Selo, var en svensk friherre och hovman. Armfelt var son till generalmajor Magnus Wilhelm Armfelt och hans hustru Maria Catharina Wennerstedt .

Le comte Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt (en russe : Густав Мориц Армфельт), né le 31 mars 1757 à Tarvasjoki en Finlande et mort le 19 août 1814 à Tsarskoïe Selo près de Saint-Petersbourg, en Russie, est un aristocrate suédois qui fut au service de la Suède puis de l'Empire russe.

Count Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt was a Finnish-Swedish-Russian courtier and diplomat. In Finland, he is considered one of the greatest Finnish statesmen. His advice to Russia's Tsar Alexander I was of utmost importance for securing the autonomy of the Grand Duchy of Finland.

In 1774 he became an ensign in the guards, but his frivolity provoked the displeasure of Gustavus III. and he thought it prudent to go abroad.
