Ramon del Fierro Magsaysay QSC GCGH KGE GCC (August 31, 1907 – March 17, 1957) was a Filipino statesman who served as the seventh President of the Philippines, from December 30, 1953, until his death in an aircraft disaster on March 17, 1957.

Ramon Magsaysay was the president of the Philippines (1953–57), best known for successfully defeating the communist-led Hukbalahap (Huk) movement. The son of an artisan, Magsaysay was a schoolteacher in the provincial town of Iba on the island of Luzon.
