Evelyn Emily Mary Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, DStJ, GCVO, JP (née Fitzmaurice; 27 August 1870 – 2 April 1960), was the wife of Victor Cavendish, 9th Duke of Devonshire.
Duchess Evelyn spent her youth in Canada and India before settling at Chatsworth with the 9th Duke of Devonshire. She was Mistress of the Robes for Queen Mary. Keen on conservation, she carefully catalogued and preserved items not in use for future generations.

The Duchess of Devonshire was the daughter of Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice, the 5th Marquess of Lansdowne. On the 30th July 1892, she married Victor Cavendish who succeeded his uncle as the 9th Duke of Devonshire. She served as Mistress of the Robes to Queen Mary from 1910-16.
