Charles Cecil Cope Jenkinson, 3rd Earl of Liverpool GCB PC (29 May 1784 – 3 October 1851), styled The Honourable Charles Jenkinson between 1786 and 1828, was a British politician.
Charles Jenkinson, 1st Earl of Liverpool, PC (26 April 1729 – 17 December 1808), known as Lord Hawkesbury between 1786 and 1796, was a British statesman. He was the father of Prime Minister Robert Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool.
Charles Jenkinson, 3rd Earl of Liverpool (1784-1851) was the son of the 1st Earl by his second wife. He was a Page of Honour to George III and had a career in the navy, diplomatic service and the Austrian army.
Earl of Liverpool is a title that has been created twice in British history. The first time was in the Peerage of Great Britain in 1796 for Charles Jenkinson, 1st Baron Hawkesbury, [1] a favourite of King George III (see Jenkinson baronets for earlier history of the family).
