Henry Chaplin, 1st Viscount Chaplin PC (22 December 1840 – 29 May 1923) was a British landowner, racehorse owner and Conservative Party politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1868 until 1916 when he was raised to the peerage.
Viscount Chaplin, of Saint Oswald's, Blankney, in the County of Lincoln, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. [1] It was created in 1916 for Henry Chaplin, who was a Conservative MP, cabinet minister, country landowner and racehorse owner.
