Count Henry III of Nassau-Dillenburg-Dietz (12 January 1483 – 14 September 1538), Lord (from 1530 Baron) of Breda, Lord of the Lek, of Dietz, etc. was a count of the House of Nassau. He was born in Siegen, the son of Count John V of Nassau-Dillenburg and Elisabeth of Hesse-Marburg.

Henry III of Nassau-Breda. The Garden of Earthly Delights once decorated the walls of the Nassau Palace. Under Henry III, the palace became a meeting place for the crowned heads of Europe, as well as for artists and writers. In 1517, the secretary of cardinal Luigi d'Aragona, the Italian Antonio de Beatis, described the palace.
As chamberlain to Emperor Charles V, Henry III was one of the most powerful and influential members of the court - indeed the Habsburg Empire. Mencía de Mendoza, his wife, was exceptionally cultivated and well educated in the humanist tradition, having grown up in an important noble family.
