Ohthere (también Ottar "Vendilkraka" Egilsson; nórdico antiguo: Óttarr; inglés antiguo: Ohþere) (n. 551) fue un semilegendario caudillo vikingo de la Era de Vendel (siglo VI), rey de los suiones (suecos) de Svealand y que a menudo se menciona como el primer monarca histórico de Suecia.
Ohthere, also Ohtere (Old Norse: Óttarr vendilkráka, Vendelcrow; in modern Swedish Ottar Vendelkråka), was a semi-legendary king of Sweden of the house of Scylfings, who is said to have lived during the Germanic Heroic Age, possibly during the early 6th century (fl. c. 515 – c. 530).
Ohthere of Hålogaland (Norwegian: Ottar fra Hålogaland) was a Viking Age Norwegian seafarer known only from an account of his travels that he gave to King Alfred (r. 871–99) of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Wessex in about 890 AD.
