Philippe-Charles d'Arenberg (18 October 1587 in Barbancon – 25 September 1640 in Madrid) was the third sovereign prince of Arenberg and 6th Duke of Aarschot. He was a leading figure in the political life of the Spanish Netherlands .
Philippe Charles François, 3rd Duke of Arenberg (10 May 1663—25 August 1691) was also the 9th Duke of Aarschot . He became a knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece in 1685. Like his father, Charles Eugene, 2nd Duke of Arenberg, he was Grand-Bailiff and Captain-General of Hainaut.

Born on October 18, 1587 in Barbençon, he was the son of Charles d'Arenberg and Anne de Cro . He married Hippolyte-Anne de Melun in 1610. Together they had at least 2 children: Claire-Eugénie d'Arenberg (°1611)

Philippe-Charles (1587-1640), third sovereign prince of Arenberg and 6th duke of Aarschot. 3rd marriage to Marie-Cleopha von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen in 1632. Soldier and diplomat. Wrongly accused of conspiring against the king of Spain, died in captivity in Madrid.
