  2. Tenente Gastone Novelli was a World War I flying ace credited with eight aerial victories. Biography. Gastone Novelli was born on 13 June 1895 in Ancona, Kingdom of Italy. He was the son of an Italian Army General. The young Novelli attended military schools–first the Collegio Militare in Rome, then the Scuola Militare in Modena.

  6. Gastone Novelli (Vienna, 1º agosto 1925 – Milano, 22 dicembre 1968) è stato un pittore e docente italiano operante negli anni sessanta. Artista della corrente informale, attivo in vari settori dell'avanguardia.

  7. After graduating in Political and Social Sciences in Florence, Novelli made his first trip to Brazil in 1948, where he began his career as an artist. In 1950 he returned to Italy and held his first solo exhibition at the Sistina Theater in Rome, where he exhibited a series of paintings attributable to an expressionist matrix.
