  4. Hace 6 días · In 1066 SHERMANBURY was part of the estate that centred on Kingston by Sea, being held then by Azor from Harold and in 1086 by Ralph de Buci from William de Braose. The overlordship of the Braoses and their successors was recorded until 1387; a reference to John Fillol as overlord in 1496 is unexplained.
