Ivy Cavendish-Bentinck, Duchess of Portland GBE (née Gordon-Lennox; 16 June 1887 – 3 March 1982) was Duchess of Portland from 1943 – 1977 and afterwards Dowager Duchess. She initiated the Harley Foundation , "to encourage creativity".

Family. She married William John Arthur James Cavendish-Bentinck on 11 June 1889. They had three children: [citation needed] William Arthur Henry Cavendish-Bentinck, 7th Duke of Portland (1893–1977); he married Ivy Gordon-Lennox and had issue.
19 de sept. de 2022 · Lady Ottoline Violet Anne Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of Arthur C.B, almost 6th Duke of Portland, but he died, so his son William became the 6th, so, as I researched her history and my great grandmother’s stories of princesses in our past, I saw that the Dukes of Portland were Dutch, originally.
Their first daughter, Lady Anne Cavendish Bentinck, was born in 1916 and her younger sister, Lady Margaret, in 1918. Following the war, Ivy Titchfield became a political wife when, in 1922, her husband was elected MP for Newark, remaining in that seat until 1943, when he succeeded as the 7 th Duke of Portland.
