Louis William Geldricus Ernest of Bentheim and Steinfurt (1 October 1756 at Steinfurt Castle – 20 August 1817) was a member of the House of Bentheim-Steinfurt. He was an Imperial Count and was raised to Prince in 1817.
Biografía. Descendía de una rama cadete de la Casa de Bentheim-Steinfurt. Su padre era el Príncipe Luis Guillermo Galderico Ernesto de Bentheim y Steinfurt; su madre era Juliana Guillermina de Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. Estudió en Marburg bajo Johann Stephan Pütter.

Alexius Frederick, Prince of Bentheim and Steinfurt (20 January 1781 – 3 November 1866) was a German nobleman. Life. He descended from the younger branch of the House of Bentheim-Steinfurt. His father was Prince Louis William Geldricus Ernest of Bentheim and Steinfurt; his mother was Juliane Wilhelmine of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.
Born in Burgsteinfurt, he was the fourth son of Charles, Landgrave of Hesse-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his second wife Princess Sophie of Bentheim und Steinfurt, daughter of Prince Louis William Geldricus Ernest of Bentheim and Steinfurt.
