Ferdinand von Miller desde 1851 von Miller fue un escultor bávaro, autor de Bavaria ubicada en el Theresienwiese, donde anualmente se realiza el Oktoberfest. Desde 1869 fue miembro del Parlamento Regional Bávaro y desde 1874 del Reichstag.
En el actual primer patio del capitolio se encuentra una placa en bronce y en relieve, realizada en 1881 por Ferdinand von Miller, que representa ese primer momento en que Reed sostiene el “plano original” que contiene la fachada y la planta del capitolio.
