Prince Vasily Andreyevich Dolgorukov (Russian: Князь Василий Андреевич Долгоруков; 1804–1868) was a Russian statesman, General of the Cavalry (1856, a full General equivalent), Minister of War (1852–1856), Chief of Gendarmes and Executive Head of the Third Section of H.I.M. Chancellery (1856–1866).
The founder of the Dolgorukov branch of the Obolenskiy is Prince Ivan Andreevich Obolenskiy (15th century), who for his vengefulness was given the nickname of Долгорукий ( Dolgorukiy / Dolgoruky ), i.e. "far-reaching".

Vasily Andreyevich Dolgorouky (1804-1868): contaba con el apoyo de Nicolás I y en 1848 fue nombrado viceministro de Guerra en un momento crítico. Más tarde fue ascendido a ministro y en 1856 jefe de la policía rusa.
