Grigori Grigórievich Orlov (?, 1734 - Moscú, 1783). Era hermano de Alexéi Grigórievich Orlov y favorito de Catalina II. Ayudado por sus hermanos, tramó y ejecutó la revolución del palacio, que hizo perecer a Pedro III, y elevó al trono a Catalina en 1762. Ésta le colmó de honores, y le ofreció casarse con él secretamente.
