Joe Brandt (born Joseph Brandenburg, July 20, 1882 – February 22, 1939) was an American publicist, screenwriter, editor, film producer, and general manager. He co-founded Columbia Pictures with Harry and Jack Cohn .

This account by Joe Brandt is about several dreams in consecutive days (better defined as "visions" in a awakening/sleep trance state). He was a young 17° year old, while was interned in hospital after a brain commotion, after falling from a horse in Fresno, California in 1937. The account of Joe Brandt's dream was formerly published ad “California Superquake 1975-1977?”, redacted by [Paul James].
Please remember that those words were written by a recovering young man in 1937... not in recent times. Observe the time of the year in which the event evolves (the early spring), how boys and girl were dressed, the rumble made by the long-lasting earthquake while it expanded by the roads in the city and everywhere.

Joe Brand felt from a horse when He was 17° years old and for many days He was in a state half sleep and half awake, like a trance, due to his head being hard hit. After this period of time He had a recurring and continuous dream/nightmare every night. It was like He assisted to the combination of two catastrophic events: a terrible earthquake and the flooding of California and other parts of the Earth.
Joe Brandt, in those days in a drowsy state while was recovering in hospital, described and then wrote very credible details [and then when studied by qualified Geologist those details were approved as scientifically sound] regarding the positions of several tectonic faults, rock strata, movements of the Earth's crust, etc.
There was so much scientific material that a geologist with multi-year experience would hardly attempt to make so terrible hypothesis. The teenager knew nothing about geology or about the possibility of an earthquake in California.
There are five important things to point that can induce us to think that this dream/vision has to be considered as out the ordinary realm of nightly dreams, and the big amount of geological data cannot be the result of hypotheses made before in the day, since: The dream/vision is developed in a perfect continuity, night after night, for many nights, retaking the thread of the history exactly were He left it. This can be considered as super-normal.
