Abū Tamīm Maʿad al-Mustanṣir biʾllāh ( Arabic: أبو تميم معد المستنصر بالله ; 2 July 1029 – 29 December 1094) [b] was the eighth Fatimid Caliph from 1036 until 1094. He was one of the longest reigning Muslim rulers. [10] His reign was the twilight of the Fatimid state.

Abū Tamīm Ma'ad al-Mustanṣir bi-llāh (árabe: أبو تميم معد المستنصر بالله) (5 de julio de 1029-10 de enero de 1094), nació en El Cairo el 16 de Yumada II del 420 A.H. y ocho meses después era declarado sucesor de su padre. Al-Mustansir Bi'llah (full name:Abû Ja`far al-Mustansir bi-llah al-Mansûr bin az-Zâhir surname al-Mustansir), (17 February 1192 – 2 December 1242) was the Caliph of the Abbasid dynasty from 1226 to 1242. He succeeded Caliph Az-Zahir in the year 1226 and was the penultimate caliph to rule from Baghdad.
