Richard of Dover, conocido en español como Richard o Ricardo de Dover (Normandía, ¿?-Halling, Kent, 16 de febrero de 1184), fue un monje benedictino del Medioevo que llegó a presidir la Arquidiócesis de Canterbury.
Richard FitzRoy (c. 1190 – June 1246) (alias Richard de Chilham and Richard de Dover) was the illegitimate son of King John of England and was feudal baron of Chilham, in Kent. His mother was Adela, his father's first cousin and a daughter of Hamelin de Warenne by his wife Isabel de Warenne, 4th Countess of Surrey .

24 de ene. de 2024 · Richard married Rohese/Rose de Dover, daughter of Fulbert de Dover and Isabel de Briwere, before 11 July 1214, when the Patent Rolls record his father granting him her castle of Chilham, Kent. Douglas Richardson gives the date as 11 May 1214. [2]

Biography. Sir Richard de Dover, Lord Chilham was born at Chilham, Kent, England, the son of Sir Richard FitzRoy and Rohese of Dover. [1] [2] [3] Marriage & Children. He married Maud of Angus, daughter of Malcolm, Earl of Angus & Caithness and Mary de Berkeley, between 13 March 1245 and 2 December 1247.
