  4. Sir Philip Wentworth was with Queen Margaret's men at the battle of Hexham on 14 May 1464 when he was captured by the Yorkists. He was beheaded on 18 May 1464 at Middleham Castle, Yorkshire. He died intestate. He may be buried at Newhouse Abbey, near Brocklesby in Lincolnshire.
