Sir Owen Tudor (Welsh: Owain ap Maredudd ap Tudur, c. 1400 – 2 February 1461) was a Welsh courtier and the second husband of Queen Catherine of Valois (1401–1437), widow of King Henry V of England. He was the grandfather of Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty.

Su hijo mayor Edmundo Tudor, fue el padre de Enrique Tudor conde de Richmond, quien derroto al yorkino Ricardo III y tomó el trono el 22 de agosto de 1485 y se convirtió en Enrique VII de Inglaterra, fundando así la casa real de los Tudor que gobernó Inglaterra hasta 1603 después de 118 años de dominio Tudor.

Owen Tudor (1400-1461) The grandfather of Henry VII, Owen Tudor, or Owain ap Maredudd ap Tudur, was born in 1400. He was the son of Maredudd ap Tudur ap Goronwy and Margaret, daughter of Dafydd Fychan.
