Aleksei Nikolayevich Bach (Russian: Алексей Николаевич Бах; 17 March [O.S. 5 March] 1857 – 13 May 1946) was a Soviet biochemist and revolutionary. He was a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union and senior member of the Supreme Soviet.

Bakh, when faced with the task of devising lessons for workers’ propaganda circles, picked up the striking image of Tsar Hunger, driving workers to labor and often to death, and used it as a recurring theme, while he transformed the message.
Aleksei Nikolaevich Bach was born in Zolotonosha, Ukraine, Russia, on Mar. 17, 1857. He studied chemistry at Kiev University but was expelled and exiled for 3 years because of his political activities.
