Christy is an American period drama series that aired on CBS from April 1994 to August 1995 for twenty episodes. Christy was based on the 1967 novel Christy by Catherine Marshall, the widow of Senate chaplain Peter Marshall.
With Lauren Lee Smith, Stewart Finlay-McLennan, James Waterston, Andy Stahl. When Christy's best friend dies of typhoid before they've had a chance to patch up a disagreement, Christy angrily questions her faith as she tries to reconcile her beliefs with the tragedy of a young, loving mother being taken away.
Christy Huddleston is seen growing ever more conflicted over her engagement to David Grantland while preoccupied with a wedding that is two weeks away. Dr. MacNeill's unexpected return to the cove further complicates the young woman's emotional state.
