Vanessa Bell (con apellido de nacimiento Stephen; Londres, 30 de mayo de 1879-Charleston Farmhouse, Surrey, 7 de abril de 1961) fue una pintora e interiorista inglesa. Miembro del Círculo de Bloomsbury, era hermana de Virginia Woolf, con la que tuvo una fuerte unión durante toda su vida.

17 de abr. de 2023 · Vanessa Bell (1879-1961) was an English painter and interior designer that focused on Post-Impressionism and Abstraction in her art. She had a close relationship with her sister Virginia Woolf and was a prominent member of the Bloomsbury group in the early twentieth century.
A vital founder of the Bloomsbury Group, Bell, along with her novelist sister Virginia Woolf, the critic Roger Fry, and the artist Duncan Grantamong others, embraced the avant-garde styles of continental Europe to advance modern art and to break down the barriers between fine and applied arts.
