Sylvi Kekkonen ( née Uino; 12 March 1900 — 2 December 1974) was a Finnish writer and the longest-serving First Lady of Finland. [1] Personal life and family. Sylvi Kekkonen later became a writer. Kekkonen’s doctoral dissertation, completed in 1936, dealt with municipal suffrage under Finnish law. His ideological roots lay in the nationalistic student politics of the newly independent Finland.
