Felix Weltsch (6 October 1884, Prague – 9 November 1964, Jerusalem), was a German-speaking Jewish librarian, philosopher, author, editor, publisher and journalist. A close friend of Max Brod , Ludwig Winder and Franz Kafka , he was one of the most important Zionists in Bohemia .

(1884–1964), philosopher and journalist. Born in Prague, Felix Weltsch obtained doctorates in both law and philosophy, and in his books concentrated on social philosophy and political ethics.
Felix Weltsch lernte Franz Kafka vermutlich 1903 über ihren gemeinsamen Freund Max Brod kennen. Es entwickelte sich eine lebenslange Freundschaft.

Philosopher and journalist, doctor of law and philosophy. A fellow-pupil of Brod’s at the Piarist elementary school, he then attended the German high school in the Old Town where he was one grade below Kafka’s. He met Brod and Kafka again when they were studying law at the Prague German University.
