David Charles Robert Manners, 11th Duke of Rutland (born 8 May 1959), is a British hereditary peer and landowner. Biography. Rutland is the elder son of the 10th Duke of Rutland by his second wife, the former Frances Sweeny. He was educated at Stanbridge Earls School, near Romsey in Hampshire, which has since closed.

Rachel Emma Manners, Duchess of Rutland (née Watkins, born 2 September 1963) is a British noblewoman and podcaster. She is the daughter of a farmer from Wales and married David Manners, the 11th Duke of Rutland in 1992. She separated from him in September 2012.
It is the seat of David Manners, 11th Duke of Rutland (the tiny county of Rutland lies 16 mi (26 km) south of Belvoir Castle), whose direct male ancestor inherited it in 1508.
Belvoir castle is home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Rutland, with the Manners family having lived in Belvoir for more than 500 years.
