31 de ene. de 2014 · In 1939, the newly created Diocese of Los Angeles-San Diego opened Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, on almost 200 acres of land that had been part of the large land grant of Rancho La Ballona. On Memorial Day, 1939, Holy Cross was dedicated by Archbishop John J. Cantwell.
