Jacob Kettler (German: Jakob von Kettler, Latvian: Hercogs Jēkabs Ketlers; 28 October 1610 – 1 January 1682) was a Baltic German Duke of the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia (1642–1682).

Jacobo Kettler fue el tercer duque de Curlandia y Semigalia, entre 1642 y 1682. Durante su gobierno, el ducado alcanzó su máximo nivel de riqueza y estableció colonias en América y África.
Under Duke Jacob Kettler (ruled 1642-1682), a Baltic German, it established one of the largest merchant fleets in Europe, with its main harbours in Windau (today's Ventspils), and Libau (today's Liepāja). During his travels to Western Europe, Duke Jacob became an eager proponent of mercantilism.
Jakob Kettler, Herzog von Kurland (* 28. Oktober 1610 in Goldingen in Kurland; † 1. Januar 1682 in Mitau) war Herzog von Kurland . Herzog Jakob war ein Enkel des letzten Deutschordensmeisters Gotthard Kettler. Er zeichnete sich durch eine überaus kluge und effektive Wirtschaftspolitik aus.
