Count John VI of Nassau-Dillenburg (22 November 1536 – 8 October 1606) was the second son of William the Rich and the younger brother of William the Silent. He has a special place in the history of the Netherlands because he is the male-line forefather of the House of Orange .

Juan VI, conde de Nassau-Dillenburg (Wiesbaden, 22 de noviembre de 1535 - Dillenburg, 8 de octubre de 1606), llamado el Viejo. Desde 1559 gobernó a Nassau-Dillenburg y fue descrito como "el mejor regente que Nassau haya poseído".
Johann VI. von Nassau-Dillenburg, genannt der Ältere, war Statthalter von Gelderland von 1578 bis 1581. Er war der Sohn des Grafen Wilhelm des Reichen von Nassau-Dillenburg und dessen Ehefrau Juliana von Stolberg. Er regierte ab 1559 die nassau-dillenburgischen Stammlande.

Married in Brussels on 13 August 1618 to Princess Ernestine Yolande de Ligne [ nl ] (2 November 1594 – Brussels, 4 January 1663).
