Nienburg (German: [ˈniːnˌbʊʁk] ⓘ) is a town in the district of Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is located in the lower Saale valley, approx. 5 km northeast of Bernburg.

From the early Middle Ages to the end of the 16th century this region was the heart of the County of Hoya.
