Graf Philipp Wolfgang von Hanau-Lichtenberg (* 31. Juli 1595 in Buchsweiler (heute: Bouxwiller); † 14. jul. / 24. Februar 1641 greg. in Buchsweiler) war ein Sohn des Grafen Johann Reinhard I. von Hanau-Lichtenberg (* 1569; † 1625) und der Gräfin Maria Elisabeth von Hohenlohe-Neuenstein (* 1576; † 1605). Er regierte die Grafschaft ab 1625.
Johann Reinhard I, was the son of Philipp V, Count of Hanau-Lichtenberg (1541–1599) and his first wife, Countess Ludowika Margaretha of Zweibrücken-Bitsch (1540–1569). Johann Reinhard I was christened on 28 February 1569 in Bitche.
16 de oct. de 2023 · The Hanau-Lichtenberg family was a German noble family, rulers of the Grafschaft Hanau-Lichtenberg, who had extensive holdings in Alsace (Holy Roman Empire) in present day France and on the right bank of the Rhine River in present day Germany. When this line was extinguished in 1736 its lands were transferred to Hesse-Darmstadt.

He was the ruling Count of Hanau-Lichtenberg from 1641 and of Hanau-Münzenberg from 1642.
