Hele's School, formerly Plympton Grammar School, is a co-educational Academy school and Sixth Form in the Plympton district of Plymouth, England, 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Plymouth city centre. Plympton Academy (formerly, The Ridgeway School and, before that, Plympton County Secondary School) is a state secondary school in Plympton, Plymouth, England. It is a mixed, non-denominational academy school. In 2022, it joined the Thinking Schools Academy Trust (TSAT) to become part of a multi-academy trust (MAT).
The Grammar School was built in 1664. Joshua Reynolds, the artist, was a pupil at this school and his father was a master. This is a magnificent example of a large school of this date built in Perpendicular Gothic style.
