Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge (Adolphus Frederick; 24 February 1774 – 8 July 1850) was the tenth child and seventh son of King George III of the United Kingdom and Queen Charlotte. He held the title of Duke of Cambridge from 1801 until his death.

Augusta was born Princess Augusta of Cambridge on 19 July 1822 at the Palace of Montbrillant, Hanover. Her father was Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge, the seventh son of George III and Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Her mother was Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel.

Adolfo de Cambridge (nacido Adolfo Federico; Londres, 24 de febrero de 1774-8 de julio de 1850), fue duque de Cambridge desde 1786 hasta 1850. De 1816 a 1837, sirvió como virrey de Hannover sucesivamente en nombre de sus hermanos mayores, el rey Jorge IV y el rey Guillermo IV.
