Sara Coleridge (23 December 1802 – 3 May 1852) was an English author and translator. She was the third child and only daughter of the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge and his wife Sara Fricker. Her first works were translations from Latin and medieval French.
The Eolian Harp is a poem written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge in 1795 and published in his 1796 poetry collection. It is one of the early conversation poems and discusses Coleridge's anticipation of a marriage with Sara Fricker along with the pleasure of conjugal love.

Sara Coleridge (1802–1852), the only daughter of Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772–1834), was a literary critic, philosopher, theologian, translator, and a commentator on politics and society. She was also an accomplished poet and a fluent, vigorous letter-writer.
Coleridge first met his wife Sarah Fricker in Bristol in the summer of 1794, and their marriage proved to be an unhappy one. Coleridge married Sarah only because of social constraints, and they separated in 1808 due to their financial difficulties and Coleridge's deteriorating mental state caused by his opium addiction.
