Schladen is a village and a former municipality in the district of Wolfenbüttel, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Since 1 November 2013, it is part of the municipality Schladen-Werla. It is situated on the river Oker, approx. 15 km south of Wolfenbüttel, and 25 km south of Braunschweig.
Schladen liegt im Nördlichen Harzvorland zwischen dem Oderwald im Norden und dem Harlyberg im Süden. Schladen-Werla is a municipality in the district of Wolfenbüttel, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It was formed on 1 November 2013, when the municipalities of the former Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Schladen: Gielde, the town of Hornburg, Schladen proper, and Werlaburgdorf were merged.
Schladen est une ancienne commune devenu un quartier et le siège administratif de la commune de Schladen-Werla dans l'arrondissement de Wolfenbüttel, au sud-est du Land de Basse-Saxe. Située au bord de la rivière Oker, et à vingt-cinq kilomètres au nord du Brocken, 1 142 m, point culminant du Harz, son altitude n'est que de 97 m.
