Georgia's 8th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Georgia. The district is currently represented by Republican Austin Scott. The district is located in central and south-central Georgia, and stretches from the geographical center of the state to the Florida border.

Recorded December 12, 2018. James Austin Scott (born December 10, 1969) is an American politician who has been the U.S. representative for Georgia's 8th congressional district since 2011. The district stretches down the middle of the state, from just outside Macon to the Florida border.

Georgia's congressional district boundaries were originally adopted on December 30, 2021, when Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed Georgia's earlier congressional map into law. The Georgia General Assembly previously approved the map with the state Senate voting 32-21 in favor of the map on November 19, 2021, followed by the state House voting 96-68 on November 22, 2021.
